Where do we park?
Parking is available around The Laundry Event Hall on the street as well as a several city lots that are within a block or two. We send out a map that you can share on your wedding website or send to your guests ahead of time. There are a few spots behind the building for vendors as well. If your guests don't like to walk we suggest hiring a valet. Please see attached:

Are we able to bring in our own catering?
Yes! You are free to bring your own catering at The Laundry Event Hall or we can help you find a local caterer to suit your needs. We will require them to show proof of insurance and visit the venue ahead of time. Contact us for our list of recommendations. We have local caterers from world famous BBQ to affordable catering options.
How to save on weddings?
If you are on a tight budget consider doing your decorating yourself. We also offer a closet full of florals, vases and candles you are welcome to use. We can also recommend some excellent local vendors who are more affordable than many big city vendors. Also consider non- Saturday wedding and limiting guest list. Guide to a wedding under $10K.
What is the capacity of The Laundry Event Hall?
The Laundry Event Hall has a total capacity of 200 people. The upstairs ballroom is perfect for smaller groups of 50 or less and the downstairs ballroom has a capacity of 150. If you want to have a dance floor and everyone seated inside we suggest keeping weddings under 130, however if you want a cocktail style wedding or event we have hosted much more. Our outdoor patio has an additional 50 seats.

Can we rent The Laundry Event Hall for a church service?
Yes, The Laundry Event Hall is a great place to rent for a church service (or any kind of event!). Our projector and screen are set up and ready to use. We include 2 stage speakers and microphones as well. Reach out to us to discuss discounts for church services.
Do you host LGBTQ/ Cultural/ Religious Weddings?
Yes, The Laundry Event Hall is an inclusive venue does not discriminate and allows for any sort of service you would like. We welcome you to bring your traditions and ceremonies and we will help bring them to life.
Where do we stay?
In addition to our 2 bedroom loft at The Laundry Event Hall (included in your building rental), please check out the Ant Street Inn and Main Street House which are both within walking distance. There is also a large selection of Airbnbs in the area. We suggest you also check out Rosalinda Farms for larger groups up to 12 or 12 Armadillos which sleeps 28. For easy hotel options there are several hotels on 290 that offer clean and affordable hotel rooms. Reach out to our coordinator to arrange for hotel blocks.
Are you a BYOB venue?
The Laundry is a BYOB event and event venue making us an affordable option for your event. You are able to bring your alcohol but must provide a TABC bartender who is licensed and insured. We suggest at least one per 75 people. We have some great local mobile bar suggestions for you.
Do you have in-house AV/ speakers?
The Laundry Event hall has a full sound system for plug and play bands or DJ if needed. We welcome you to bring your band or special musician. Please have them visit with us ahead of time to make sure they know the space and equipment. You will be required to use our sound tech if you want to use the sound system. If you are a promoter or a musician, please contact us about performing at the venue.
What in included in All-Inclusive Packages?
The Laundry Event Hall offers both all-inclusive Microwedding packages or all-inclusive wedding packages. Check out our All-Inclusive details under the wedding tab. We have basic packages that includes the basics (planning, food, bartender, decor, staffing, officient) or we can customize a package that suites your need. We want to help you have an elegant wedding but without breaking the bank, so we strive to offer flexible packages.
Does the Laundry Event Hall have a wedding planner?
The Laundry Event Hall has an amazing in-house planner that serves as your included day of coordinator (a $1000 value!) or she can also provide full or partial wedding planning services. Take the stress out of your day and let us handle the details. Reach out to learn more.
Is the Laundry Event Hall good for corporate meetings?
Yes, The Laundry Event Hall is a great place to rent for a corporate events or meetings. Our projector and screen are set up and ready to use. We include 2 stage speakers and microphones as well. We are situated right in between Houston, Austin, San Antonio and College Station making Brenham a great place to host meetings and corporate retreats. We also have smaller break-out rooms to use during your corporate events.
Where are you located?
The Laundry is located in adorable and walkable downtown Brenham- only 1 hr from Houston, 40 minutes from College Station and 1.5 hrs from Austin. Downtown Brenham is full of wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. Brenham is the Wedding Destination of Texas because of its central location to all of the major Texas cities.

Do you have an outdoor ceremony location?
Yes, you can host your ceremony in our outdoor garden. We have white folding chairs that can be moved for a fee to set up the garden for a ceremony under the trees and lights.
Do you host small weddings, micro weddings or elopements?
Yes! The Laundry Event Hall specializes in weddings from 50- 130 (up to 150), but we also have an affordable elopement package if you are wanting something even smaller. We are a perfect spot for an intimate or Microwedding. Please check out our wedding packages here.
Why is it so much more affordable than Houston?
Because we are in a smaller town, The Laundry Event Hall can offer wedding and event space at a much lower cost than big-city venues. We pride ourselves in not only being an affordable wedding venue near Houston, Austin, and College Station, but also being a great spot to host a destination wedding in Central Texas. The Laundry is a unique and intimate wedding venue that you won't find in the city.
Does the Laundry Event Hall offer live music?
The Laundry Event Hall has the capability to host bands with an amazing acoustic set up. Our house speakers are perfect for your band to perform. While we are not a live music venue open to the public we welcome outside promoters to rent the venue bring in events.
Can we bring our pets?
Yes, The Laundry Event Hall allows for pets as long as you clean up after them. Pets may also stay the night in the Loft as well as long as they are off of the furniture and taken out to use the restroom.
