Where do we park for The Laundry Event Hall?
Parking is available around The Laundry Event Hall on the street as well as a several city lots that are within a block or two. We send out a map that you can share on your wedding website or send to your guests ahead of time. There are a few spots behind the building for vendors as well. If your guests don't like to walk we suggest hiring a valet. Please see attached:

How much do weddings cost at The Laundry Event Hall?
Couples booking their wedding at The Laundry Event Hall spend significantly less than booking a wedding in Houston or at a large wedding barn. Our rates start at just $3100 and then we have amazing affordable vendors. We also have a small elopement package for $2500. Couples usually spend between $15,000 and $25,000 for a 100 person wedding at our venue.
Do you have an outdoor ceremony location?
Yes, you can host your ceremony in our outdoor garden. We have white folding chairs that can be moved for a fee to set up the garden for a ceremony under the trees and lights.
Do you host small weddings, micro weddings or elopements?
Yes! The Laundry Event Hall specializes in weddings from 50- 130 (up to 150), but we also have an affordable elopement package if you are wanting something even smaller. We are a perfect spot for an intimate or Microwedding. Please check out our wedding packages here.
Why is The Laundry so much more affordable than Houston?
Because we are in a smaller town, The Laundry Event Hall can offer wedding and event space at a much lower cost than big-city venues. We pride ourselves in not only being an affordable wedding venue near Houston, Austin, and College Station, but also being a great spot to host a destination wedding in Central Texas. The Laundry is a unique and intimate wedding venue that you won't find in the city.
Does the Laundry Event Hall offer live music?
The Laundry Event Hall has the capability to host bands with an amazing acoustic set up. Our house speakers are perfect for your band to perform. While we are not a live music venue open to the public we welcome outside promoters to rent the venue bring in events.
Can we bring our pets?
Yes, The Laundry Event Hall allows for pets as long as you clean up after them. Pets may also stay the night in the Loft as well as long as they are off of the furniture and taken out to use the restroom.
Where do we stay in Downtown Brenham?
In addition to our 2 bedroom loft at The Laundry Event Hall (included in your building rental), please check out the Ant Street Inn and Main Street House which are both within walking distance. There is also a large selection of Airbnbs in the area. We suggest you also check out Rosalinda Farms for larger groups up to 12 or 12 Armadillos which sleeps 28. For easy hotel options there are several hotels on 290 that offer clean and affordable hotel rooms. Reach out to our coordinator to arrange for hotel blocks.
Are we able to bring in our own catering?
Yes! You are free to bring your own catering at The Laundry Event Hall or we can help you find a local caterer to suit your needs. We will require them to show proof of insurance and visit the venue ahead of time. Contact us for our list of recommendations. We have local caterers from world famous BBQ to affordable catering options.
How to save on weddings?
If you are on a tight budget consider doing your decorating yourself. We also offer a closet full of florals, vases and candles you are welcome to use. We can also recommend some excellent local vendors who are more affordable than many big city vendors. Also consider non- Saturday wedding and limiting guest list. Guide to a wedding under $10K.
What is the capacity of The Laundry Event Hall?
The Laundry Event Hall has a total capacity of 200 people. The upstairs ballroom is perfect for smaller groups of 50 or less and the downstairs ballroom has a capacity of 150. If you want to have a dance floor and everyone seated inside we suggest keeping weddings under 130, however if you want a cocktail style wedding or event we have hosted much more. Our outdoor patio has an additional 50 seats.

Can we rent The Laundry Event Hall for a church service?
Yes, The Laundry Event Hall is a great place to rent for a church service (or any kind of event!). Our projector and screen are set up and ready to use. We include 2 stage speakers and microphones as well. Reach out to us to discuss discounts for church services.
Do you host LGBTQ/ Cultural/ Religious Weddings?
Yes, The Laundry Event Hall is an inclusive venue does not discriminate and allows for any sort of service you would like. We welcome you to bring your traditions and ceremonies and we will help bring them to life.
Where are you located?
The Laundry is located in adorable and walkable downtown Brenham- only 1 hr from Houston, 40 minutes from College Station and 1.5 hrs from Austin. Downtown Brenham is full of wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. Brenham is the Wedding Destination of Texas because of its central location to all of the major Texas cities.

Are you a BYOB venue?
Yes! The Laundry is a BYOB event and event venue making us an affordable option for your event. You are able to bring your alcohol but must provide a TABC bartender who is licensed and insured. We suggest at least one per 75 people. We have some great local mobile bar suggestions for you.
Do you have in-house AV/ speakers/ stage?
The Laundry Event hall has a full sound system and stage for plug and play bands or DJ if needed. We welcome you to bring your band or special musician. Please have them visit with us ahead of time to make sure they know the space and equipment. You will be required to use our sound tech if you want to use the sound system. If you are a promoter or a musician, please contact us about performing at the venue.
What in included in All-Inclusive Packages?
The Laundry Event Hall offers both all-inclusive Microwedding packages or all-inclusive wedding packages. Check out our All-Inclusive details under the wedding tab. We have basic packages that includes the basics (planning, food, bartender, decor, staffing, officient) or we can customize a package that suites your need. We want to help you have an elegant wedding but without breaking the bank, so we strive to offer flexible packages.

Is the Laundry Event Hall good for corporate meetings?

1. What is The Laundry Event Hall? The Laundry Event Hall is a historic industrial event venue located in the heart of downtown Brenham, Texas. Housed in a building that actually dates back to the 1920s and once operated as a laundry plant, the space has been transformed into one of Central Texas's most unique and sought-after wedding and event venues. Think exposed brick, high ceilings, warm lighting, and a vibe that is nothing like a barn or a hotel ballroom.

13. How many guests can The Laundry Event Hall accommodate? Our capacity ranges from intimate to full-house depending on how much of the building you rent. The upstairs ballroom holds up to 50 for a seated dinner or 100 for a ceremony. The downstairs Main Stage holds up to 150. If you rent the entire building, the maximum capacity is up to 200 guests.
14. What types of events does The Laundry host? We love all kinds of celebrations. We host weddings, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, elopements, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, milestone anniversaries, corporate events, celebrations of life, graduation parties, and welcome parties. If you are celebrating something, we are here for it.
15. Can The Laundry accommodate small or intimate events? Absolutely. We are actually one of the best options in the Brenham area for intimate events. We are great for gatherings as small as 25 guests and regularly host micro-weddings, elopements, and small dinner parties that feel special without the overhead of a massive venue.

You can do your ceremony in the upstairs ballroom or in the courtyard, and transition to the Main Stage area for your reception, all without your guests ever having to move to a different location.
23. Does The Laundry have a bridal suite? Yes! We have a beautiful bridal suite included as part of our full building rental packages. The loft apartment with its two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and screened-in porch doubles as both a bridal suite for getting ready and a honeymoon suite for the couple's first night.

Our most popular option is the full weekend rental, which gives you access to the entire space from Friday at 3 p.m. through Sunday at 11 a.m. This allows you to host your rehearsal dinner or welcome party on Friday, set up at your leisure, stay on-site in the loft apartment, and enjoy your wedding on Saturday without any of the rushing.

All-inclusive packages and weekend rentals vary based on the spaces rented, the day of the week, the number of guests, and the services included. 40. Is The Laundry Event Hall affordable? Yes. One of the things we are most proud of is that we offer a genuinely unique and beautiful venue experience at a price point that is accessible. We are significantly more affordable than comparable venues in Houston and Austin, and we offer flexible options so you are never paying for more than you need.
41. Do you offer weekday pricing? Yes! Weekday events, especially Monday through Thursday, are significantly more affordable than weekend rates. This is part of why our weekday elopement packages starting at $2,000 are such a popular option.
42. What is included in a full building rental? Full building rental includes the Main Stage and bar downstairs, the upstairs ballroom, the courtyard patio, the bridal suite, the groom's room, the loft apartment, tables and chairs, and lounge furniture. It is everything you need under one roof.
43. Are tables and chairs included? Yes! Tables and chairs are included with your rental, along with comfortable lounge areas with sofas. You are not starting from scratch.

44. Why should I have my wedding or event in Brenham, Texas? Brenham is a genuinely charming small city with a historic downtown, great restaurants, a growing wine and food scene, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes for a perfect wedding weekend destination. 50. Is The Laundry a good venue for a non-traditional wedding? It is probably the best venue in the Brenham area for a non-traditional wedding. Our space lends itself to creativity, and we love working with couples who have a vision that does not fit the usual mold. 54. Can I decorate The Laundry Event Hall however I want? Yes, within reason. We want your event to look like you, and we give couples and clients real flexibility to decorate the space. We do ask that you discuss any plans that involve things like open flames, confetti, glitter, or attachments to the walls so we can make sure everything is safe and venue-appropriate.
55. Do you have preferred vendors for photography, catering, florals, or music? Yes! We have a list of preferred local and regional vendors who know our space well and consistently deliver great work. We are happy to share recommendations as part of your planning process. That said, we are open to outside vendors as well.
